Backup and disaster recovery

Data Backup and Disaster Recovery in Spring, TX

A backup you have never tested is a guess. We back up your servers, computers and Microsoft 365, keep copies off-site, and test restores so you know you can recover.

What we protect

Servers

Image-based backups so a failed server can be restored quickly, not rebuilt from scratch.

Workstations

Backups for the computers that hold important files or specialized software.

Microsoft 365

Email, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams data, kept beyond Microsoft’s retention limits.

Off-site copies

Encrypted copies stored away from your office, protected against ransomware.

Monitoring

We check every backup job and fix failures, instead of finding out on the day you need it.

Restore testing

Regular test restores, with results you can show your insurer.

A plan for the bad day

Disaster recovery is more than backups. We write down what gets restored first, how long it should take and who does what, whether the problem is ransomware, a hardware failure or a hurricane. Then we practice it.

Common questions

How long would it take to get back up?

It depends on what fails and how much data you have. We agree on recovery targets with you and design the backups to meet them.

Is Microsoft 365 already backed up?

Microsoft keeps the service running but does not guarantee you can recover deleted or encrypted data. A separate backup closes that gap.

We have an external drive. Is that enough?

Usually not. A drive in the office can fail, be stolen or be encrypted by ransomware along with everything else. You also need an off-site copy.
